Ruth Waring FCILT

Ruth is a multi award winning logistics professional and has worked in the sector for 34 years; she is an enthusiastic advocate of the profession. She started working in 1989 for the NFC (now DHL) as a graduate trainee, and has worked in France and the UK. Her experience  includes working in the retail, automotive and publishing sectors, and has been self employed for 18 years. She is the Founder of Women in Logistics and has a varied career as a logistics consultant as well as qualifying as a Jikiden Reiki practitioner. She is an expert on logistics compliance including Operator Licensing and Health and Safety, as well as ISO and the BRC Food Storage and Distribution.
