In this talk leadership author and speaker Neil Jurd OVE explains the importance of ‘connection and direction’ in leadership, and describes how leaders need to learn to resist the temptation to ‘control and direct’, and learn to ‘pause and allow’. This approach to leadership gives senior leaders the time and space to think strategically, and creates the conditions for a culture of trust, creativity and innovation.
