Life as a Box

Axiom Hall: 1 Stand: F14

This cell, installed in Chicago, USA, cross-docks up to 6000 packages an hour from small 'Jiffy' style packages through to 15kg boxes and everything in between. The cell is to check the packages for a re-sale internet site prior to export. The cell checks each package against customer input data:

  • Package dimensions.
  • Package weights.
  • Identity inbound bar code.

Utilising a SICK integtrated DWS to the Axiom control. Phase two of this installation incorporates Axiom two ASS-075 Sliding Shoe Sorter systems; one for exceptions, one for final courier sorting.
